Seth’s practice includes a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. Areas of focus include providing strategic advice on securities, tax, mergers and acquisitions and contract negotiations. Seth enjoys helping growth-oriented businesses navigate the complex issues these businesses face at each milestone and transition.
Seth received his Juris Doctor from UNC School of Law where he served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law and worked with clients in the Consumer Financial Transactions Clinic litigating a range of small claims cases. Seth received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from Brigham Young University in English and French, with a minor in Economics. He has worked as a volunteer clerk with various judges in North Carolina from Superior Court and the Court of Appeals doing research for cases and drafting opinions. Seth has also worked with a justice on the Cherokee Supreme Court for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians where he helped update and draft proposed rules of appellate procedure for the Cherokee Court system.
Seth stays involved in his community outside of SLG. He is currently on the Board of Directors for Childcare Matters, Inc., a local non-profit daycare, serving as Board Treasurer. He also teaches LSAT prep courses for The Princeton Review and has been doing that since he graduated from law school. He tries to get out to play tennis whenever the weather permits and perform standup comedy as time allows. Mostly, Seth enjoys being able to spend time with his wife, Lorien, and two children, Sophie and Soren.
