Trent Green has a broad base of corporate tax experience from his 20+ years of public company, private company, and public accounting experience dealing with multinational companies of varying sizes. One of his greatest strengths is working with company leaders and subject matter experts to provide practical tax advice that is strategically aligned with business, legal, and accounting considerations. Finally, Trent is known for his ability to sort through details, break issues down, and then to explain the related tax ramifications in understandable ways that enable business leaders to make informed strategic decisions.

Trent served as the Director of Tax for PROS, a $160M publicly traded company headquartered in Houston, TX. Prior to that, he was a Tax Director in PwC’s Raleigh office. Before joining PwC, Trent was in charge of international tax at SAS, a $2.7 billion private company operating in more than 50 countries. He began his career in public accounting with PwC (Coopers & Lybrand) working on a variety of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax issues. Trent has BA/Business Minor and Master of Accounting degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill.

Trent is an award-winning speaker and technical presentation leader that develops his own courses, writes books, and teaches CPE in multiple states. He also enjoys working with, teaching, and mentoring youth, having been a scoutmaster and a community baseball coach for four years and having worked with youth in his church in various capacities for over ten years. Finally, Trent enjoys his life with his wife Alison keeping up with and being involved in the lives of his five children.
